Job Title: Cold Storage Warehouse Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Cold Storage Warehouse Manager to run the operations in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while maintaining strict cold chain integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of temperature-sensitive products.
- Ensure compliance with cold storage regulations, food safety standards, and health & safety policies.
- Monitor and maintain temperature control systems to ensure product quality and safety.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure timely shipments.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure proper handling of perishable goods and minimize spoilage or loss.
- Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 3–7+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in cold storage or food/pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong knowledge of cold chain logistics and temperature-controlled storage requirements.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
